I havent been to a wedding w/ either of these DJs but when I went to see Wild Rose VIdeo I told them I was thinking about using Music by Michael and they showed me some unedited video of a reception where he was the DJ. It was great. We booked WRV there on the spot and when we got to the car we called Michael and booked him too.

I havent been to a wedding with High Voltage, but I met with Vinnie and FI and I decided to book with him right away. He was so great, really acommodating and super affordable. He had good references. I recommend you check him out!

High Voltage just did my wedding this weekend and I HIGHLY recommend him. Vinny was wonderful!! We didn't have to worry about a thing! He will do the music however you like, and he will get any song you ask for. He was courteous, professional, and all around incredible! For more details, look for my review.

Well, I have not gotten married yet, but I will give you my IMPRESSION of both DJs. My opinion is that they are two totally different types of DJs. High Voltage is just that, high energy and they seem like they really get in there and get your crowd going, but I can see where they may be a little over the top (I'm sure they could tone it down if need be). Music by Michael is not gimicky or anything and very low key. We booked with Music by Michael for the fact that he seems like he really can get a feel for a crowd and get them going without being in their faces. We loved him from the second we met him. HTH.

We just used Music by Michael for our wedding in February. He was great. His website makes the whole planning process really easy and enjoyable. He is a great MC, not cheesy at all. He is extremely ANAL!!! That's why we booked him--everything from his office to his presentation at the wedding is clean, neat and to a tee. Everything is computerized and he will get ANY music you want--even if it's really difficult to find.

I just used Vinny from High Voltage for my wedding on 3/27 and I can tell you I have nothing but great things to say. He had my crowd up and out of their seats with the great music he played. He listened and followed to everyone of my requests. You can read my review, but def meet with Vinny. He is a super great guy.
