I have been to a wedding at the meadow club, the country gardens at east wind, and the inn at east wind.
They all were nice weddings. I like the grounds better at East wind, but everything else really was about equal in my opinion.

Re: The Meadow Club? East Wind?
I looked into Meadow Club also, very pretty, great price and staff. I wanted only 1 bride. Didn't like the idea of running into someone dressed like me on my day. Best friend married at Inn @ East Wind and it was also very pretty, honestly though, didn't like the bridal suite and I didn't think that the food was very good. In their defense though - it was one of the first weddings that they did. Could be different now.

My 'problem' with the Meadow Club is the bathroom is downstairs. I found it annoying to have to walk down stairs to take care of my business. The food and presentation is very nice.

Re: The Meadow Club? East Wind?
There are different bridal suites in all the different East Wind properties...
I am in love with East Wind, and booked it on the spot right after going to one of the Bridal Open House things.....I ahve been very happy with how professional and nice they ahve been to me, and so on top of everything. Also, the food was delicious, and its hard to please my FH because he is a cook himself!
The Inn has only been there 2-3 years now from what I remember. I do know they changed a few things, like a few yeaers ago there was like 3 choices for dinner, now our guests (at least at Country Gardens) has a choice of 1 of 6 entrees....and different things ahve changed...maybe they learned from mistakes and suggesitons.
Good Luck in whatever you choose to book!

Re: The Meadow Club? East Wind?
I am partial to the East Wind, I love it there and I spoke to a bunch of people who have been there and have heard lots of great things. My FH sister got married at Meadow Club and it was very nice, food was very good. The only thing that I didnt like was the way the room was set up. The rest was great. The outside needs work also.

I have been to 2 weddings at the Meadow Club, and one at East Wind Country Gardens, both were very nice. I did find the Country Gardens to be small though.

Re: The Meadow Club? East Wind?
I was going to book The Meadow Club. I have been to weddings there before and the food is very good. I wasn't happy with the coctail hour room. I decided at the last minute to check out East Wind. I fell in love with the Estate and the price was about the same for me.

Re: The Meadow Club? East Wind?
I am getting married at the Meadow Club because it was exactly what I was looking for wanting a small wedding. I only am having 80-90 and I fell in love with the room I am using and the food and service are spectacular. I have heard great things about East Wind, if I were you go to both, see if you can taste their food and then make the decision. Hope this helps.

One of the most important things to me was that I was the only bride...having said that I would vote East Wind.

Re: The Meadow Club? East Wind?
I have to say first that Ive never been to a wedding at MC. I also must say that I was not even going to LOOK at East Wind because i felt like everyone I knew and their sister had their wedding there. BUT then I walked in.... and LOVED it The Inn has both ballrooms, and I was worried about there being two brides in that building. They assured me that no two brides have ever seen each other yet (staggered times and two separate entrances etc), so that made me feel better. Ive heard many good things about the weddings there, but then ..Im a little biased!! Good luck with your decision.
