Under 3 months.
I moved out of my Ex’s in Dec and met Jim in March.
When onto MIRC program and the channel #Newyork because I used to use #texas to meet new people and hang out with folks who were similar to me. Met Jim online and we went out on a date. The rest.. is history.

I had broken up with my last serious 'ex' about 5-6 months before I 'met' my wonderful FH .. During those 5-6 months, though, I became a serial dater.. LOL I guess I needed to get it out of my systerm, since that was the first time I dated a lot... at which point I realized I HATED dating and liked being either alone or in a relationship! LOL

When I say 'met' my FH (in quotes) I mean that we chatted online for a few months before actually MEETING each other. But honestly even from those first rounds of endless emails, I didn't want to date anyone else .. I was already 'his' and I just knew he was someone REALLY special . Damn was I hooked on him (still am!).

And in mere weeks after we DID finally meet in the flesh, I was totally head over heels in love

You do realize that aside from the Mets/Yankee thing, Anthony & I, you and Christine have a lot in common .. well actually out of the 4 of us I'm the only Yankee fan in the group, so we could never hang out...you guys would gang up on me

Remind me sometime to tell you what Anthony said in his initial emailing to me the first time .. (if you think YOU bash the Yanks, you have no idea - you've never met Anthony! LOL)

i've been better as of late -- no bashing from me

i did FM a slight bash, but i think i was objective

i have to concern myself with the next 11 games, i'll be at one of them on sunday

I was still with my ex when Don and I went on our first date. The relationship was pretty much dead. When Don and I became a 'couple' it was only then that I broke up with my ex.

Same here! How long was it before the last serious boyfriend? Probably 2 years.

I met FH while I was dating the guy I dated BEFORE I dated the guy I dated before FH.

After I broke up with guy #1, I liked FH, and he liked me, but his frineds and everyone got invovled and said he didn't want to be in a relationhip..I ende dup dating guy#2 and dumping him for FH (there were other reasons, but I started dating FH the day after I dumped the creep)

We met about 3 years after the last heart breaker, and we met on match.com and we have been together since the first date, which happened after 3 phone calls, and moved in together after 6 months and marrying 1 year after moving in together...Not too fast, huh? It just 'happened'

LMAO!! I can now admit that I dated someone I met online and not feel weird!! Woot Woot! I dated him for a year and we spoke online and on the phone for a year before that. It wasn't a personal ad though..oh no, typical MKM story..I was drunk , it was 3am and I was trying to AIM my drunken neighbor and I mispelled her name. And ended up talking to a him. BTW, he is out of the closet now.


Oooo, the point of this thread. I met FH while I was dating some a$$...perfect timing!
