I think it would be fine to get them something off their registry that is about $70, especially since they were horrible at your wedding & you obviously aren't too close with them.

I think thats fine too. It is on there registry and $70 is still a decent gift.

ETA: But... won't that make family drama? Is it worth it?

I would give them even less than that. An engagement party three months before the wedding is totally tacky. When is her shower?

I guess it will be right after the e-party...

I agree!! I wouldnt even spend that much!! A gift for $50 max. I mean within 3 months look at how much you are going to have to shell out for there wedding?? at least you gave them time to earn the money before they were spending it

I agree. So people are supposed to give them 3 gifts in a 3 mo. period? e-party, shower then the wedding

What's the point of having an e-party so late?

I guess they realized that there were more gifts to be had...

Off the registry, afterall, isn't that what it's for. It would be rude of her to make any comment on the $ amount you paid for the gift.

Go ahead and get something from their registry. It'll be something they want, and wont be much stress for you. Thats why they have a registry, isnt it??
