In Farmingdale, one of the nice restaurants/ bars to go to is The Library Cafe on Main Street & Conklin!!

As for shopping, I love Green Stream on Boundry Avenue! The greatest fruits & veggies & the deli is good too!

agree on Library cafe...for bagels, go to Stuff a Bagel on main street. theres also a chili's right on hempstead tpke, considered bethbage, but very close. where in farmingdale do you live?

Good pizza... Alitalia on Main Street (near Starkie Brothers florist)... Chinese... I actually go to Massapequa for Chinese food cuz its sooooo good! Asian Kitchen in the little village... Stores... I always go to Pathmark cuz its near my house... What else specifically do you want to know about? I agree- Stuff a Bagel is the best for bagels :)

Where in Farmindale are you near?

Wing Hing has pretty good chinese food. It's on Merrits Rd. I'm in Massapequa, so I usually get my bagels and pizza there.

Where is this vegetable place on Boundary?? What's it near??

It's ont he corner of Boundary and Merrits Road- where the old Farmigndale Library used to be... It's not called Green Stream anymore I think though... Maybe Compare??

It is now called Best....it is n a very large shopping center right on the border of Bethpage & F'dale, where Boundary/Merritts crosses over the Bethpage State Parkway.

I agree with AlItalia having the best pizza, their penne ala vodka is soo good. Pat's farms on 109 right by Hempstead TPKE has great meat and veggies. Stuff a bagel is also good on main street.

we just got our apartment in farmingdale as well!! We are inbetween the village and merritts. i love that area. i grew up in bethpage so i kinda know the area. good nail place is on boundary right where it meets broadway (considered f'dal though) called Shiny Nails. GINOS Pizza on Main Street is reallllllllly good! the library cafe' is great!! there is so much to do in the village on main street. did you happen to hit the fair they had this weekend celebrating 100 years?! the fireworks were great!

Wow, I didn't know I had so many neighbors!!! I'm in the Farmingdale/Bethpage area too. I agree that Wing Hing is great Chinese, and Rose Maries for pizza in the same shopping center.

The dry cleaners across the street is great also. The owners are very nice.

I will say this STAY AWAY FROM THAT NORTH FORK BANK!!!

Wanted to add that I just got a flyer in the mail, they are trying to put a Super Stop and Shop in the Industrial area on Motor Avenue, next to the park.
