I know it may be farther for you but Queens College is pretty resonable and has a very well respected education dept.
Took the words right out of my mouth! That's where I'm going for Counselor Education.

I have my BS in exercise science....I want to teach elementary physical ed.
I am going to go to adelphi next week to talk with someone and see if I should go straight for masters or undergrad in education. I don't know which is a better route.
Go straight for the master's. Also, Adelphi is really expensive. You could try Stonybrook. They have the MAT (but I don't know if they have one for phys ed) and it does not require a BA in education. Good luck!
