Jenny I am sooooo sorry.
I dont see why they couldnt respond back. They do alot of business and I honestly expected more from them considering their 'good' reputation.

I think we should all show up at the time your wedding was planned and tell them we were invited and expect to eat!!!

farmingdale...I work in garden city & massapequa..yes 2 jobs. So time is hard.

How do you not give a person the option to decide on donating, going foward etc...When the Banquest Manager said I could do that if it doesn't rebook.

I remember that when booking Leonard's, I asked, 'what happens if we win the lottery and have our wedding at The Plaza? could we still pay off this contract and use the room at the same time for a different party?'

My BM said, 'No, it has to be for a wedding, for Susan and John, on May 30, 2004'

But, if your BM said that you COULD use the room for something else, then I think you should pursue this further and take action...

You should really go down there in person. They can't turn you away then. I think you mentioned on NWR that you were going away this weekend - I would postpone my trip by 2 hours or so and take care of this now. This way you'll have some satisfaction one way or another.

I have to agree with the other girls Jenny. I would definitely go down there ASAP - even though time is tight - and make A LOT of noise!! If you wait till after the date it may be too late...

Yes, go down there on a Saturday when all the other brides are looking at the venue to possibly book their weddings there. Stand at the entrance and tell each and every one of them what unprofessional, unresponsive liars they are. That may get their attention.

Have you also sent certified letters to the President and Banquet Manager?

As long as you gave them I believe6-9 months notice if the room is booked they have to refund your money. If it is not booked then I believe only a certain percentage. My friend is a banquet manager at another place so I can get more details if you need them so let me know. FM me if you want. And I agree, go there on the day of your wedding w/ a video camera.
