My DH lived in New Orleans for five years. He said that it can go as low as the 40-50s or be as high as the 80s in the wintertime. I would plan for weather in the 50s to 60s. Bring layers and you should be okay.

I was there last year end of Oct/beginning of Nov...it was high 60's, low 70's....

We took a cruise out of New Orleans in December 2000. We went down a couple of days early to enjoy New Orleans first. It was in the 30's! I was not expecting that at all. They said that is rare. We had a blast anyway and the cruise was AWESOME!

cool thank you..I went there once...but it was beginning of june. I thought taking a cruise from there would be more fun than tampa.

speaking on behalf of Tampa, dont rule it out yet, have you ever been to Ybor city, that place is so much fun, its a street they close off thats filled with bars, resturants, etc. my mom lives in tampa and when we go down to visit its party central, among a few other places there.
