At one of my old jobs, I had a boss who was a pathological liar. He told us all that he was a Gambino (his last name was actually Mannino), that he owned all 7 of the stores in our chain (he was a manager of 1), that he had a Dodge Viper (Nissan from 1990). He showed me a pic of his 'wife' 'Marie' and then showed a co-worker the same pic but this time it was his 'girlfriend' 'Lisa.'

At another old job, there was a new secretary who was out of her mind. She was in her 50s and always had something to say about everything. Plus, she would try to give me unsolicited advice and put her arm around me. I'm really into personal space so this ticked me off to no end. Plus she'd just sit at her desk and let the phone ring until one of the brokers or I picked it up. Lady, it's your JOB to answer the phones!!!

It's funny because last week there was an article on MSN.com about 'cubicle etiquette' and how you're not supposed to lurk or listen in & comment on someone's convo in the cubicle next to you. MonkeyLuv, maybe you should print it out for your buddy

Sasha96...seriously! I feel bad because he's a nice guy but pleeeeeeeeeease, talk to me about something else...I cannot handle intellectual conversations all the time! and again SPEAK UP!!!! I hate having to ask him to repeat himself, especially since I know he only said something boring!

Lately I've just been telling him I'm busy, reeeeeeeeaaalllly busy.

and on top of that, sometimes he comes over to talk but he has NOTHING to say so I have to sit there awkwardly. Dude, a little prep-time before socializing would do you good. Now go away!

IT help desk guy that refuses to fix your computer but will sit on your desk for hours to talk about sex or who he's currently 'banging'

Lady who Sucks .. slurp, slurp, chew, chew, on anything and everything all day long. She clips her nails too.

I think he may have a crush on himself! 'Oooh, I know where all the cool shows are and I know all the cool bands and I know all the cool things to read!' There must be something about you though if he feels he can share this with you!

I had a co-worker at my school, who got fired almost 4 years ago. She taught 3rd grade with me. She used to bug me about every stupid little thing and constantly come into my classroom while I was teaching. She also called me by my first name in front of my kids!!
Once, I walked into her classroom and looked at the board. It was covered from top to bottom with notes on how to figure out your weekly paycheck, if you make 50 grand a year. COME ON!!!

Luckily I don't have any annoying people here except for loud potato chip eater, nail clipper, and perfume lady....
But I've had PLENTY of annoying people at previous jobs. I had the whistler/hummer/singer - this woman CONSTANTLY whistled, hummed, or *tried* to sing. I wanted to punch her in the teeth. And it wasn't like she was whistling or humming a song either. She'd go 'la da deeeeeee, la da dummmmm....' She also had a redneck accent so she'd say things like INsurance or UMbrella or Thursdee.

Then I also had another lady in the cube next to me who would have daily, very loud phone conversations with her mentally impaired mother. 'No Mother, today is Tuesday which means that tomorrow is Wednesday. You wear your watch on wrist so that's why it's called a WRIST WATCH Mother. Mother, do NOT bite the doctor, that's not nice. Mother do NOT call me a liar!! Mother, Mother, MOTTTHHHHHERRRRR!!!!'

I swear I work with ELSIE THE COW!!
We work at a kids magazine and we get tons of bubble gum samples... esp. Bubble Tape. One of my co-workers is CONSTANTLY chewing the gum, and LOUDLY... she honestly sounds like a cow. She is very high level and sounds like a DOPE on phone calls, conference calls and in meetings when she has her loud open mouth chomping... blowing bubbles and snapping... it drives me NUTS!

ETA- she just friggin' called me... chomping in my ear!!! HOW ANNOYING!!!!

I have one who brays like a donkey when he laughs. It is ear shattering.

Another who wears his shirts too tight and too short- you can see his hairy belly when he moves his arms.

Another one who will look over your shoulder at what you are working on. I bought a privacy screen- you can onyl see the screen when you are looking straight at it, not from any other angle.

And EVERYONE seems to like sneaking up on me- my cube's entrance is at my back. So they like to give me heart attacks when entering.
