LOL... you don't work in Manhattan... thats for sure.

My FW grew up in Riverhead. She worked out in Southhampton for a while.

And yeah there ain't much to do during the winter. And in the summer you get plenty annoyed with all the 'city folk' roaming the streets.

I live in Riverhead, I worked in East Hampton and Southampton before becoming a mommy. There are MANY people who commute west for work around here. BUT the area is quite a booming place in the spring, summer and fall... but in the winter you are just bored out of your mind.

fitness director - in the hamptons... are you kidding me. Im SURE there has to be something out here. Have you called the Omni Health and Raquet in Southampton maybe they could give you some leads.

If you do decide to move out here be prepared for bumper to bumper traffic in the summer and some places closing in the winter because they are seasonal. Im sure its a change from where you are now but its just so darn pretty I wouldnt leave for the world.

I am from Sag harbor...grew up there...

I now live in Rhode Island because I cannot afford to live out there anymore...a 1 bedroom cottage with NOTHING included costs over 1200...there are jobs available, but not a ton..you cna check out the southampton press: www.southamptonpress.com and check out classifieds...or easthampton star...www.easthamptonstar.com for the classifieds too..

Oh, and BTW, the locals CANNOT STAND the city people who think they own the world!! Believe me, you will see what I mean...
