i got the same thing too omg one of my bms as of now cannot get into the city for the bridal expo.... great there was a fire in the east river tunnel and nj transit service is also down now.... i hope things change soon.

A transformer fire beneath the East River closed Penn Station to all incoming trains on Monday.
The Fire Department said it responded to the fire, on tracks used by Amtrak in an East River tunnel, around 1 p.m.

LIRR Penn Station Service Advisory: No Evening Rush Hour Service out of Penn Station
Due to a transformer fire in one of the East River tunnels, LIRR train service is currently suspended into and out of Penn Station, and we expect service to remain suspended through the evening rush hour. There is no LIRR train service between Jamaica and Penn Station. Port Washington branch service is suspended between Penn Station and Woodside.
We advise customers to make their way to either Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn or Jamaica. Port Washington Branch customers should make their way to Woodside.
Customers should expect at least 30 minute delays on trains out of Brooklyn and Jamaica.
LIRR tickets are being honored on NYC Transit subway trains at Penn Station, Jamaica, Woodside and Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn.
