then again, boston should be used to getting washed out

hopefully we can score ALOT of runs early, and the rain will hold out until after the 5th, so that it counts

If they are going to have weather problems I would rather them not start this game. Brown has back problems and a night like tonight could be very difficult for him. Especially if there are rain delays. He wouldn't be able to do that.

Well last night's Cardinals/Astros game was played ... and there was heavy, steady rain throughout the evening in St. Louis. So I doubt they would cancel the game entirely, though it might be delayed here and there I also doubt they'd call it after 5 innings..

I think that rain might be good for Boston. Their players all look like they could use a 'shower' don't you think?

You make an excellent point, Jen. The rain would be awful for Brown, and so not what we need right now.

I had a very strict discussion with the baby that if it didn't come before tonight's first pitch it has to wait till the off day on Monday. Let's hope the Yankees wrap up the series this weekend and I have the baby next week to be home in time for the World Series.

they may let them play in the rain, but if theyre expecting thunderstorms, they definately won't let them play if there's any sign of lightning.

Good point about Brown though! I'm sooo anxious to see the game though

Just make sure your husband has TV ordered as soon as you check into the hospital so you can deliver and get back to the game!!

Sadly Yankee Fnas, I was just watching sportscenter and they are saying it is unlikely they will play. They said its raining pretty hard and starting to get heavier!! I am still doing my no rain dance though!!
