Re: MOH question- sorry long, but i'm very confused

Hi. Recently I was in what I consider to be a similar situation.

My advice: I would definitely maintain Julie as your sole MOH. In your whole life, looking back, it sounds like she is the one who has been there for you the longest and most consistantly. It sounds like you and Erin are close recently but I would not discount that timetested friendship for the brief consistantcy you had with Erin during your wedding planning. It sounds like Julie is just crazy busy but I'm sure she still loves and cherishes your friendship.
Erin is probably better at the planning and day to day details and excitement surrounding your wedding, so I would keep her as a bridesmaid. If she is the friend you make her out to be, I'm sure she won't even consider the title. JMO.
If you do decide to make her co-MOH, I would broche the subject with Julie first. Bottom line, If it aint broke, dont fix it!

Re: MOH question- sorry long, but i'm very confused

I too have a MOH that is completely uninterested and know my entire 28 year life!! I say now that I am 12 days away that MOH is making my life miserable!! Dump her, it's not worth the heartache!! MY MOH has made life tough for others in the bridal party as far as not being interested.

If things have changed in the past few months, you never know if they will change again in the next few months. I'd wait before making any hasty decisions.

Re: MOH question- sorry long, but i'm very confused

i honestly think that you should have a long talk with your moh she might be going through some tough times and she might not want to burden you with them during a time that should be happy. i have a friend that i dont talk to as often as i use to but i know that if i need her she will be there. i would leave it as it is and if you want to something extra for your other friend i would take her to a spa day just you and her and tell her that she is important to you and you appreciate her but i wouldnt change her status. she might not even want the extra title because it might make her feel strange because she is also friends with the original maid of honor.
