OMG!!!! That sounds like something my dad would do!!! But, jsut for the record, I do a mean Turkey call myself. Although, I've never tried to woo a member of the opposite sex with it... Whenever we pass by the turkey farm on the way to the Tanger Outlets, I let 'er rip...still cracks my mom up!!

Oh no, no no Farah...he didn't imitate a turkey...see, that would have been kinda a cool and goofy and possibly even endearing. Hell, I can howl like a monkey.
No, he had a turkey caller thing, looked at me very earnestly as only 16-year-old boys do and said 'You know hunters lure their prey to them with this.' And he made the turkey sound.

I tried really hard not to laugh in his face.

The sad thing is that I didn't even for one second think that this guy might've just gobbled himself...Of course he used a turkey call!!! We have them lying all over the house...my dad makes them!!!

The sadder thing is that you held in all of that glorious laughter!!!!!!!!

MonkeyLuv...I am sitting at work and laughing at this post, I love the names you had...my friends and I had names for people at college too (yes some were very mean but funny).

One guy I gave a chance was called 'FE' for funky ear. He was a wrestler and got what they call cauliflower ear..which lots of guys get from wrestling..but it kinda scared me and i couldn't stop looking at it. Nice guy i guess, but not too smart either...i may have been able to look past the ear if he was able to form a sentence.

Oh and he also commented that i had a huge chest on our first and LAST date. Just what a girl wants to hear...

I'll just say that I should have been tipped off the evening was not going to go well when his only ID to get into the bar was an inmate identification card.

oooh, that jsut made me think of this guy in the next school over from us. He was a wrestler and jsut notorious for being a bad a$$. Well, he got into a fight once and someone bit part of his ear off (I swear this was pre-Tyson). Of course, being the tough-guy that he was, he had a No Fear bumper sticker on his truck!

Nope sorry, your average run-of-the-mill county jail. It's a long story, so I won't bore you with the details - but I heard he tried to assault another girl on a date a couple of weeks later.

My worst date ever is a 3 way tie:

1. The guy who showed up to pick me up and when I got to the car, I realized there was another girl sitting in the front seat. Surprise surprise, he apparently decided to have 2 dates that night...and made me sit in the back of his teeny tiny Porsche!

2. The guy who decided that for our FIRST date, we had to go meet up with his friend at some bar. This other guy was this annoying little runt who proceeded to hit on my all night long and bad mouth my date...right in front of him!

3. The guy whose car bumper kept falling off as we drove around - so he had to keep pulling over, getting out of the car, and duct taping - yes DUCT TAPING his bumper back on every few miles.

One of these days I'm writing a book...

I had NO IDEA who this girl was at first...I thought he was only giving her a ride (it was in the Hamptons and we were going to a charity event so I figured she was just someone in his share house). So we got there, and he still had not explained who she was but when they started flirting, I ended up walking away and sitting with people from my own share house that night. I do regret not telling him off but I was so in shock!
