I would have an attorney read the contract ASAP. I sorry you have to go through this but everything works out for the best.

Get a lawyer to draft a letter immediately stating breach of contract. Do you have all these 'promises' in writing????

Are the things they are telling you about now in your contract? If you have specific violations to what they put in your contract, I think you have a good chance of getting your money back.

Good Luck!! I'm glad it is working out so far with your new hall! As someone else posted, you're lucky that the old hall only had $2600 - I think at 25 days before our wedding our hall had $5,000 with the balance due the next week!
