Re: Help me pack
I would bring a light sweater for at night when you are at sea but I doubt you are going to use it....When you are at sea, all you need is a bikini & coverup....Days on shore, bikini & shorts & shirt & maybe a coverup! That is practically all I carried with me....Enjoy your time!

Re: Help me pack
I am the same way! When I went on my cruise in October, my luggage weighed 50lbs & I wore not even 1/2 of what I brought....I swore I would never do that again! Now here I am packing for SC on Saturday & I am finding myself do the same thing over again! I just pack thinking, oh, i might want to wear that!

Re: Help me pack
I had brought a white zip up hoodie from gap, and lived in it during my cruise. I am also a denim jacket fanatic so I brought that too. the shows got chili, and I was in a lot of the ac bars

Re: Help me pack
i'd say definitely bring a sweatshirt.. sometimes it can get cold at night. and if you're planning on doing anything on beaches you might want to bring an extra set of clothes ashore.i'm not good to help with packing. i always overpack. i like having options.

Re: Help me pack
Definitely bring a sweatchirt or swaeter to waer at night and in the AC. The AC is so cold on the cruises at dinner! That is one thing I regretted from my last cruise.

Re: Help me pack
pack me into your suitcase, I want to go toooo.....I have never been on a cruise, but basic rule of thumb with beachy vacations is:
all bathing suits and wraps
2 pairs of shorts
2 t-shirts
1 zip-up or shawl
1 black dress that can be dressed up or down
1 pair flip flops
1 pair comfy walking sandals
1 pair strappy dressy sandals
some junky jewelry that won't crush you if you loose it.
mix and match....a t-shirt with a wrap around skirt, and strappy sandals one night, a bikini top and shorts with zip up another nights, etc.....
this way your DH can't ***** at you for shopping while on vacation, and you'll have suitcase room to bring it home
