oh boy - this is my true area of expertise, b/c I am OBSESSED with sushi - well my favorite is probably Blue Ribbon in the city, or Nobu for a fancier night . . . but in long island just for every day dining - My favorite is definitely Daruma in Great Neck, wow that is so good. . .. followed by Sapporo on Merrick Ave in Wantagh and Shiro's on Old Country Road in Garden City.
wow. I'm hungry.

yeah, I am recently getting into it and in LOVE!!!!! Have you tried Tai Show in Massapequa?
Watch out, you are on the road to addiction! Yes, I've been to Tai-show (there's actually 3 of them I think) - Anyway, It's delicious . . . I was going to add it to my list of recommendations, but then I had to just pick my very favorites. Tai-show is definitely in the Top 10. There are just so many good ones, ya know? lol

Thanks -- it was great. There were some people that were pretty squeamish about the whole sushi idea but they did okay. A couple of Sake Bombs and they forgot what they were eating anyway!! Tai Show does have non-sushi dishes too so it was fine.
