Yukis Palatte was really good!
And there's one on Jericho in Westbury, right near the Kohls there. In the shopping center of Franks Steakhouse that has AMAZING rolls! Some of them are so huge and they have a nice assortment of rolls. I don't remember the name and can't find it in online yellow pages.
I may ask to go there for Valentines day since DH said he's taking me for sushi. mmmmm

Nagashima is the one your thinking of...really good. Hoshi in Bethpage..yummo...in the city I love Genki..they have the conveyer belt that goes around and you pick what you like...surprising that a place like that has amazing sushi. Higashi on Jericho Tpke in Syosset also excellent. I am sushi obsessed.

I love Isono in Floral Park and there was a place called Satto in Glen Oaks but it closed and Kisso in Lake Success.
I had sushi from that chain Jani once, it wasnt too bad but not great either.

I used to go to Isono all the time when I lived in Mineola...great stuff. I like the rolls named after golfers..

midori sushi in east norwich/oyster bay. saw billy joel there a few weeks back.
its a low key place - the staff is very friendly and the sushi...TO DIE FOR!!
and the best japanese market right next store.
on a fri or sat night, the place is crowded.

I love Sushi Palace in West Hempstead on Hempstead Turnpike.
Also in Island Park by all the clubs down by the water there is Shogun.
