Well, there's one in Corona (Queens) that is like this, it's a churrascaria (brazilian barbecue). It's Green... something. I'll come up with it. Not sure if that's what you were talking about.

Search menupages.com by Brazilian food, see if anything jars your memory if it's definitely in Manhattan.

The first one you are thinking of is in Vegas too, we went there on our honeymoon. I'm thinking of the name, It's a meat place, with steak and such. I'm going to check with Dh and let you know the name...give me a sec

It's in NYC. (never been there, only heard of it, I think it's Brazilian????)

i went to the place for a bridal shower. i didnt not like the food. they had roast beef, steak, chicken, pork, rabbit and duck. i thought the food was ok very salty.

They have tons of weird food (think alligator, kangaroo, buffalo, boar). It's all you can eat for one price--I think $20 or $22 for dinner? DH's friends LOVE IT--they all eat a ton and you put out the card to keep the food coming. I'm more of a steak and potatoes girl, and not too into the really odd food, but it is a great atmosphere and was nice to try at least once. Had there been more normal food options, I would have been happier, but I am not too much of an adventurous eater.

I've been to both Greenfields. They DO have some funky things but I have had some really good things, like bacon-wrapped turkey. Yum.

Now I'm on a dilemma. I was going to take DH to Green Field on Saturday. I decided this one instead of Plataforma and Master Grill that is another churrascaria in Queens. I thought that Plataforma was expensive and prices in Green Field were more moderate, and I thought that both were the same thing. Now I'm scared of the food in Green Field Anyone has been to both of them? What should I do?
