I just got engaged this weekend, I've been waiting (sometimes patiently) to join LIW, soontobekunz is my best friend....
Can anyone help me?? I need some suggestions for an engagement party. I am thinking I'll have about 80 people, and I would like enough space for people to socialize, and might even want a DJ. I would like to stay in western Nassau.

Thank you guys, you are so nice! I am starting a list, and might go looking at a few places this weekend, so I'll let you know what I find for an engagement party...I am so glad I'm finally here!

Thanks for the great welcome. I know I might be being a little neurotic but I really want to start getting a move on with planning an engagement party. I am thinking about Rocco's in East Rockaway, a good friend mentioned she'd been to a baby shower there recently and liked it. Anyone know anything?

I had my moms 50th Bday at Roccos and it was really good..The food was really good and the place is very nice..romantic feeling.
I'm thinking about having my engagement party there...Gotta check prices though!!

congrats!! we had our e-party at Madison Hall in RVC, it was amazing, the food was awesome. i couldn't believe what a great job they did for us. everything was wonderful, we had it on a sat night, dj and everything, everyone had a ball.
