Re: I'm FINALLY HERE

I just made a list for the engagement party for my side, and I have 50 people to invite, FH is gonna have about 75. This is out of hand, where can I find a place to
accommodate a little over 100 people, that's affordable? (I know that's relative)

Re: I'm FINALLY HERE

Congratulations and welcome!! I know how you feel- FI and I each have 70 people on our lists- a total of 140 invited...crazy!! But don't worry it will be beautiful. Wish I could suggest someplace, but I only know suffolk or nyc. Good Luck!

Thanks you guys. buggiegirl I would love to hear your suggestions, NYC, and parts of Suffolk aren't out of the question.

PS. I called Rocco's and they are asking 38.00 per person. thats including alcohol

Re: I'm FINALLY HERE

A friend of mine had an engagement party at Chataeu Briands new restaurant that they opened. It was REALLY nice.

Maybe check that out. They have a jazz musician there, and there is a lot of 'mingling' room.

Re: I'm FINALLY HERE

Well the search is still on for the engagement party... Went to Alias Smith and Jones tonight and the food was great, the owner and staff very nice, but unfortunately its not big enough. Future sister in law made a list for their side and they have 85, mine is about 55, plus friends, we are going to be inviting about 150 people. Sorry to ramble, but I just want to find the right place at the right price
