This distro list hasn't been copied a million times, has it? I know that my old imprint used to print a distro list and make a bunch of copies to staple to things and they tried to use them up, instead of wasting paper.

If she already has them made, ask that the revision be made when she is running low. If she creates a new list for everything, then you should take the list, type it up, add your name and send it to her as a read-only file and tell her you saved her the trouble of adding you

Or go even further and not only create the new list, but also print a stack for her.

Oh yeah, good for you for reviewing jackets. Stupid things can happen if people don't review those thoroughly. Like one price on the inside cover and one in price spec EAN and then you need to sticker them. Argh!!

thanks Juliet - she actually just writes the list on each folder (more work, in my opinion) but you raised an awesome point..... Maybe in the e-mail I can suggest a distro list be printed up and attached to the folder, that way it's already done and the folder doesnt have to be marked up every time..... Hmmm...

I was actually reviewing the final matchprints before it got sent to the printer, but I was finding so many mistakes that had to be corrected at that last moment (costly and time consuming) that my boss decided it would be easier all around if I was on the original distro, to avoid all those mistakes being missed. It's actually funny, bc this distro went through the two snotty b1tches, my boss, and two other people when it circulated, and I was STILL finding errors on the matchprints when they came back from the printer...

Well, this is the e-mail I have so far. I haven't sent it yet, 'm sure it needs more!

Just a reminder – when you are setting up these folders for circulation, please be sure to include my name as well. I was just added to the distro a little while ago and wasn’t sure if everyone was aware of that. Thanks.

LMAO! OMG, sometimes I really wish I worked with some of you ladies instead! My day would be so much more entertaining! That's so funny..... but, um, wrong! Yes, that would be a bad thing.... I think? I'm going to send the e-mail as it is, I thinkit's accurate enough and at least I'[ll have a record of the reminder if it happens again. It's just so silly, honestly!!!!
