Okay, I'm sorry to disagree with you guys, but I think people should be able to do what they like with their hair. As long as it's neat, and she wears the dress you have chosen, it's her hair, and she should be able to wear whatever color she likes.
I agree with that.

Re: BM with Fire Engine Red Hair
Personally I think the BMs can do whatever they want with their hair, but if it is important to you then maybe ask FI to say something to her. I was in a wedding last year and when I went for my first fitting of the BM dress I realized you could see my tattoos...I called up the bride and asked her if she wanted me to cover them. It didn't make a difference to me, but it was her day. She did ask me to cover them.

My fiance and I talked today - he told me that when she was in her cousin's bridal party, her hair was brown, so I'll wait and see.
I'm so glad I got to read both view points.

I consider myself to be pretty conservative but I totally agree with you. People express themselves in different ways and this happens to be her way.
I went to a band showcase when I was planning my wedding and there was this awesome band that I totally loved but the lead female vocalist had a tongue ring. It didn't bother me but one of the future grooms in the audience had a problem with it and asked if she would remove if they booked. Well the guy in charge of booking said no way. I just think it's wrong to ask someone to change their appearance. Even covering tattoos. I chose our closest family and friends to be in my wedding b/c I love who they are. That's all that should matter. Not their appearance, size, hair color or body art.

I have body art and piercings myself but I had enough common sense and forethought to put them in places that would not be seen in a professional setting. If I were spending thousands of dollars on a wedding band, they sure as hell better dress and appear like professionals not like the garage band down the street.
I am going nuts to try to cover my own tattoo between my shoulder blades with a high back wedding dress. Why? Because, IMO,a formal wedding shouldn't look like the Jim Rose Circus.
I am bound to offend someone by this but what the hell. There comes a time when dying your hair the many colors of the rainbow is no longer cute or attractive. Unless this woman in question is relatively young, I would be pretty upset with the hair color issue if I were the bride. Maybe it is the old person in me but sometimes a lady just needs to look like a lady. A wedding is one of those times.
