No - I don't think it's tacky at all! Most people include registry cards.

I am helping in the planning of my shower also!!! Congrats!!!

YES!! I've found my 'I'm helping to plan my shower' partner!! I thought I was the only one that was NOT going to be surprised at their shower.

Thanks for the advice...I'll be sure to enclose those little cards- gifts are most certainly welcomed!!

LOL! The only thing is beware... my MOH helped in the planning of her shower (which was amazing), but by the time the wedding rolled around, she was burned out!

I can see this happening to me! My shower is 08/27. When is yours? We've booked the place and I am concentrating on invitations now!!!

My friend recently had her shower and they were not included, if i didnt know where she was registered already I would have had to call and ask someone ...it makes life easier for the guest who wants to buy off the registry.

The registry cards are for shower invites...

Not tacky at all... I actually made my registry cards. Put all three on on little card instead of a bunch of inserts falling out all over the place.

My shower is in a month 6/12 at my best friend's house. I cannot wait! I ordered the cards from partycat.com, downloaded the font same font they used from a website, printed the invites myself and I'll be walking over to the post office in about an hour! I gave them to my co-workers (my 2nd family!) today and they looooved them!! You are right- I could see myself burning out soon. I'll just make sure that I get a facial right after the shower (if I can afford it)

ETA: Thanks for the advice girls!!!

You should make hints that you would wnat a facial for the shower--it is always nice to get a gift certificate to be pampered

No not tacky for shower. What is tacky is putting them in wedding invitation.

Putitng in for shower saves people from having to call and find out where the couple is registered.
