I have gone several times to 'visit' my dress and they let me try it on every time (even when I have shown up without an appointment)....I think it is a bit odd!

It was stipulated on the receipt that I had to come in within 7 days of when the dress came in to see it and try it on. It came in in March and I don't have to go back for my first fitting until August.

ohhhh i'm so annoyed at them because i know how excited you are to finally see it!! it seems there's not much you can really do, and hopefully the time will fly and your appointment will get here FAST - i can't wait!!!
