me and my fh just booked our hall for sept 23 2006 i need to know when should i go and start looking for my dress i found one dress that im so in love with but is it too early to go and get it? if so when should i get it????

ohh i wanted the sept 23 date too, but my hall was already booked up. i plan on going shopping for my dress soon, everyone says it can take up to 9 months if not longer.

I am getting married the day before you, and I ordered my gown, two months ago. It is definitely not too early.

Definately start trying them on to know what you like and don't like. Since you have time....go to a few places and see what you like. Have fun!

It is never too early but make sure you tell them the wedding is 2 weeks before it really is just in case there are any mistakes in shipping or alterations.

I think it's never too early. If you really love this gown then order it. If you want to try on others to compare than that is fine too. But it's never too early IMO.
Sometimes gowns are discontinued. This is what happened with my gown. My salon told me it was discontinued but since I ordered it they have to make it. Not sure if that goes for all designers.
