I put it in a pony tail until and wait for a low humidity day to straighten it.

i use some curl creme, and let it dry naturally.... then either pull half or all back.

I blew mine out Mon and Tues-it was a horror show once I stepped out the door. Today I attempted gel again, we'll see. But it has been horrible, gross, and so dry at the ends

I can't just let it dry or it'll be an uncontrolled mess..what do you curly girls use?


I use 2 products.. the first one is like a curl gel.. I can't remember the name of it right now, but it is yellow and by Got2Be. I put that in right after I comb it and then I don't put my hands in my hair again!! When it dries a little bit I spray in Bed Head camera ready. Usually they really keep the frizzies away but I am having lots of trouble the past few days.

im a ponytail girl too! and it gets it off your back...ahh, i feel cooler already...

I use Head Games purple gel or Back to Basics green gel. They aren't sticky and they both leave my hair full.

ok, I live in Miami and let me tell you, I thought I was not going to be able to do anything to my hair here since it's hot and humid almost all year long.
My hair is wavy but I like it straight. I got this really expensive but good flat iron (true ceramic pro) and it does the job; my hair looks straight even with the daily humidity from here.
Sometimes I get too hot but I refuse to put my hair up, and that's how it got used to it.
I blow dry it a little bit or let it dry natural, and then use the flat iron to finish it.

Yeah I want something that is not stick, does not leave my hair crunchy/hard curls.....but I don't need volume, I have a lot of hair


Try a bit of the Head Games one.

I have fine, mostly straight hair, so it this weather it jsut looks dirty all the time if I leave it down.

I blow dry it a little, with no product & then when it is stilll a little damp put it in a tiwst. It is thin, so it just needs 2-3 pins.

I use some Curls Up gel with a few spritz of that Got2Be stuff for curls and the humidity isnt a problem. But yesterday it was a ponytail day.
