i have super thick curly hair and usually the curls are so nice, in this weather you cant really tell if it is curly...its just nasty and gross!

soooo it goes in a ponytail and/or a bun!

i put a low loose ponytail-
but if it is fancier i just suck it up, leave it down and use a lot more hair product and hope for the best

Either back in a ponytail or half up....but it still doesnt look good! This weather hates natural curly hair!

Do you use a curl shampoo/cond?

If so will it make blowdrying straight a battle, even if you go back to using regular shampoo/cond?

I use Matrix Curl Life shampoo and conditioner. I even use it when I get my hair blown out and it looks great straight.

I tried to let it grow out ( I have REALLY curly hair naturally), but after the heat and humidity over the past few weeks, I couldn't stand wearing my hair in a ponytail every day. I gave in and had it redone again on Saturday. Oh well, guess I have to wait for the winter to let it grow out again
I miss my curls!!

When its damp from the shower I put it up in one of those big claw clips.

My hair is naturally curly and gets REALLY frizzy.. , so I usually put it in a low bun or low pony tail..

I hate this weather!

Yes.

Or, I put stuff in it and let it curl up..I don't even bother straightening it in this weather..

I either wear it up/back or do it curly also. If I do straighten it I use Frizz Ease Extra Strength Shampoo, Conditioner, straightening serum and best of all my secret weapon - Frizz Ease Shine Spray (it is a miracle cure) I swear!

My hair is really long right now so, I can put it up a million ways if I want.
Lately if I am bored of the typical ponytail: I Put my hair in a high pony tail while damp. Put a little gel in it and make two braids. Wrap the braid on the right loosely around the ponytail to the left side and vice versa. Criss-cross the braids at top. Leave some hair loose at the top and put a rubberband around to secure it. Put a little more gel in the pieces on top and scrunch a bit. Sounds difficult but it is really very easy and I get a zillion complements when I do this.

I always had issues with humidity. I have straight hair that can have a wave to it if i don't blow dry. I use to be really big on the wet ballarina bun style...especially when i worked in the city.

Now i just don't wash my hair and i have a great ceramic straightner and i have no issues like i use to.

when its hot enough...yes!

i think ponytails can be sexy/classy/cute/pretty/sophisticated, depending on the part/height. and i usually strighten/curl my hair first with an iron so the ends look nice, but i dont go crazy knowing its going up.

Me too. I put Frizz ease serum in it first and another frizz ease gel. But I am still not happy with it. I have to try some of the other products you girls mentioned. I hate the frizzy curls!!!
