Ladies I know and if you asked me last year I 100% agreed I bought this dress for ME! Cause I loved it. But now I realize that I also bought it for the event with someone else, and I thought I could feel differently.

And I am so angry at him for things he is not doing to allow me to move on with my life, or even could do at the very least for me after everything I did for him.

That dress is just another reminder of how my life was once!!!!

Jenny, I just wanted to say that I would get rid of the dress too. I think it would taint a future wedding in a weird way. If you donate it, it might be tax deductible, and you'll know that something good came out of your difficult decision. Good luck!

i want to get rid of my dress and I actually wore mine! I want to get rid of it along with the memories. I wanted to sell it cheap too but no one wanted to buy so I think I am going to donate as well! Thanks for the suggestion and glad to see you happy again and smiling!!! I am smiling and have not stopped for the past few months.

Maybe that is why I realize that I don't want to keep something that might ruin a great day....evn though it was the perfect dress for me, and I lose the money, maybe it was not that perfect or the one if I was not meant to wear it!

I'm sorry I saw your dress and it is absolutely beautiful. But, I just ordered my own dress. I think that donating it will be great because you can let go of it, and then a bride that cannot afford such a beautiful dress can wear it. Good luck.

there is a place in port jefferson that takes donations for the ukrainian church - hmmm what is it called...
