Married 7 years now and I go to the supermarket and buy them for myself...boy things sure change...

Enjoy it for as long as it lasts!! It's really nice to get flowers.

My DH buys me flowers once a month - on the day of the month we were married - one flower for every month we've been married. He started the first month after the wedding but, now that we've been married for almost two years, its getting a little crazy...but, I admit, I love it! He's a keeper

probably 8-10 times a year- nothing fancy- but he will pick up flowers from the supermarket and i put them in a nice vase at my house.
i dont need roses delivered to my office- but the little boquets from the supermarket are very much appreciated and last a week!

3-5, I guess. Alwyas on Anniversary and Valentine's Day. Sometimes for my birthday, and he used to send me flowers when he screwed up, but that happens less and less. In college he'd send me flowers if he really missed me a lot. I'd like to get flowers more often!

Only on special occasions...our anniversary, my birthday, v-day. I wish he would come home with them 'just because' sometimes. They have such nice ones at the produce stores down the block from us.

Looks like I'm in the minority (glad for you girls!) but FH might buy flowers on Valentine's Day....He bought 2 dozen roses & sent to my job when we first started dating, but that is all.

When my FH owned two flower shops I got flowers all the time. Now that he is no longer in the business I almost never get flowers because he says that they are overpriced! LOL!

But the good news...he is doing the flowers for the wedding and they are amazing. He made a sample for me and it was just incredible!

I know it's new, but he's so great because I have gotten 6 bouquets of roses since we started dating (4 months) He knows they make my smile so much! Some were random/no reason, some were for anniversary!

[I even told him I'd rather flowers the rest of the year, but don't you dare buy me them for Valentine's Day!]

Don't feel bad- I'm in the same boat as you. The last time I got them was maybe 3 years ago on v-day and I practically begged for them!!

We have been together for 5 years and I think I got flowers from him maybe 3 times.
He does get my jewelery alot so I guess that makes up for it!!

My latest! When we first started dating I think at least once a week he left roses or flowers on my car. I was commuting into the city, and he would leave them on my windshield so I would get them when I got back to my car. He'd also leave notes telling me to look above my tires, where he would leave little presents or chocolates. Now, 5 years later, it's a lot less, but when he does they are mostly for no reason and great surprises! When I was leaving overnight a few months ago he gave me a huge bunch before I left.

I used to get them a LOT more when we started dating - at least a rose a week, sometimes, it was a DOZEN roses for no reason, or for every month mark.

I asked him to stop after a while, because although I LOVE flowers, I felt like he was wasting a TON of money!

I actually mention (like a wise-ss) when maybe he should bring some home. In all fairness to fh, our 2 cats like to EAT any flowers that he brings home,so the flowers wind up on the top of a tall bookcase until they die. Not very inspiring to him...
