When my FH owned two flower shops I got flowers all the time. Now that he is no longer in the business I almost never get flowers because he says that they are overpriced! LOL!

But the good news...he is doing the flowers for the wedding and they are amazing. He made a sample for me and it was just incredible!

Seriously, I don't like flowers - I don't like getting them because I forget to take care of them.

DH used to send me flowers at work a lot. After I got laid off, he would buy flowers in the supermarket or BJ's.

ehh - pretty much just on holidays (V-day, Anniversary), but this year he skipped the Anniversary so that is 1 for the year

Once in a while he will surprise me with flowers for no reason - those are my favorite Or when I came home from my last business trip he met me with sunflowers (my fav) - that was so sweet (and definitely welcome after a long flight )

My mother used to own a florist, that I worked full time in. So DH NEVER bought me flowers.

Now that I have a new career, he still BARELY ever buys me flower, and they are one thing that I LOVE!

He gets the standard red roses for valentines day. That's about it, unless I start bugging him about it, he will go out and buy them for me.

We have 2 cats, so it's hard to have flowers in the house anyway.

I usually get flowers on v-day, anniv, bday, and if there's something special going on (like my graduation this past june). I always hint to him to bring home flowers more often, but he doesn't listen.

Yes, I know what you mean!! FH bought me beautiful roses when he proposed to me, and it was such a treat. But he says that he doesn't do it for birthdays and such because we have no safe place to put them with the cat. Its true. In our Apt we have almost no counter space, so once when I bought flowers in the supermarket, I had to keep them on top of the refridgerator!!

DH almost never gets me flowers. But, he knows that, although I like them, I would really rather save the money for something else, maybe something we can do together. He did, when it was 1 year (or was it 100 days, I can't remember- does that make me a terrible wife? ) till our wedding he picked wild flowers for me. And this year he brought home some lilacs for me b/c he knows how much I love them. But otherwise, not too often.
Sometimes I give him a hard time about it but I think he knows I'm kidding.

Once or twice a month and whenever he works in NYC. He doesn't do roses unless they are an unusual color, usually it's tulips because they're my favorite!

I am totally not into flowers at all, so in all of our time together, I think he's bought me flowers only a few times. I don't like bo-ks, so it's only been one or three flowers at a time. He buys me odd flowers, things you hardly see.
