Re: if you could have one last word with someone.....
It would definitely be with my grandma. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to her the night she died. I had to work late and my boss wouldn't let me leave when I heard she was at the hospital. I 'knew' in my heart that she was going to leave us that night and she did.
Grandma if you're listening....I love you and miss you everyday..

I would love to tell my Dad I love him one last time but what is more important is that I wish I could hear him say it back. I miss him so much. Less than one month and it doesn't get easier.

A negative last word..the principal where I worked..I would tell her that she needs to find clothes that she isn't busting out of...and that she is the most unprofessional person I have ever meet and that karma is a *****! (Ok those are a few last words)
Positive..My Grandfather.. I would love to tell him that I am engaged..but I guess he already knows

My brother. He died while he was away on vacation so I never got to say good bye. Weird thing is, the day he left for vacation, his friends were picking him up at 7 am. I slept on the couch that night and I heard him getting ready to leave in the morning. I layed there, half asleep, hearing him leaving and I decided nah, I'm not getting up yet. Later that night, the cops came to tell us he died. I wish I had just 1 minute, 30 seconds to see him and to talk to him and tell him how much I love him and miss him.

Re: if you could have one last word with someone.....
Very tough one......
Each of my four grandparents especially my grandma who died when I was 14. It had always broken my heart that she wasn't around when my daughter was born. She would have loved her!
Another being my former fiance who passed away 9 years ago after being very sick for a long time.
There are a few others that I'd like to say some very not nice things to such as my daughters father but that is another story!

My stepfather.
He died the day after easter 2 years ago. My mom and sister brought him some food that I had made because he was too sick to come over. I brought food to my dad who was working on long island instead. My mom had called me to tell me that she thought he was going to die that night (he was sick) and I never would have believed it to be true. The next morning I got the dreaded phone call. There was and is sooo much I should have told him but always thought there was more time. We had a rocky relationship because I was just entering my teenage years when I met him but I grew to love him so much and didnt know how to express it. I always feel like he died without knowing. I wish I had just 10 minutes with him. Just to look him in the eye and tell him what I truly felt and how much he meant to me. It will be my biggest regret ever that I never did.

Hmmm...I have 2.
One is an ex boyfriend who passed away almost a year ago. We had alot of things left unsaid.
The 2nd would be a close friend who was a musician and died of AIDS related complications. I'd need to tell him how much him impacted my life

My 'Fiances' Best friend.
A few months after we started dating we moved to SC. We saw him every now and then when we lived there but I never really got to know him. Partially my fault b/c I didnt like some things I did know about him. Now, I feel like I lost out on getting to know him. I wouldnt want to say anything except that I am sorry...and maybe a hug or two.

I would love to tell my mother I love her. She passed away 11/8/04, and I never got a chance to say good bye to her.
My sister, brother, Danielle and I were there for her last night alive in the hospital but my mother was under morphine so she wouldnt be in pain....We wanted to make sure she didnt feel a thing.....
My mom was a breast cancer survivor from 1990. She was cancer free for 13 years, when her cancer came back as Liver Cancer in early 2004. She was sick mostly the whole year and the cancer spread throughout her body. I thank god that my mother was there for my wedding on August 14th 2004. She looked so beautiful that day, and she was sooo happy that day. I will never forget our dance together...We danced to Unforgettable by NAt king Cole....Because that is what my mother was - Unforgettable.....
