Re: if you could have one last word with someone.....

Here's a negative, I would tell my ex that I can't believe what a coward he turned out to be, that he needs therapy, that I was the best thing that ever walked into his life, and that everytime he hears his mother's shreaking A$$ cartoon character voice he can shudder thinking about what he lost.
And that regardless of how thin and tan whichever Missy McPerfectson he ends up with's thigh are-she'll never make him feel the way that I did.
I hope that he gets exactly what he thinks he wants, and that he chokes on it.

I would have to say my Grandpa. He died in 1990 and not a day goes by that i don't think of him and miss him. I got to say Good bye to him......but i just would like that one day with him again...just to remember him.

As time passes on you start to realize that you are forgetting the way a person sounds, talks, walks, was......that is why i would like just a day to remember the man he was.

But i will always know he was amazing.

I would love to tell my Dad I love him one last time but what is more important is that I wish I could hear him say it back. I miss him so much. Less than one month and it doesn't get easier.

Goldi, wish there was something that could make the grieving easier for you...

Re: if you could have one last word with someone.....

my sister she died june 15 2001
she was away in new jersey having attended my cousin's funeral she was suppose to be comming home that morning for the baby's birthday and instead we got suffolk's finest at our door at 7 am.
someone slipped something into her drink at the after funeral dinner and it reacted with her heart medicine and she died.

i never got to say good bye - she wasn't even sick - she just wasnt here anymore just like that.

the baby still doesnt know aunt kim died on her birthday - we didnt have the heart to tell her. she is only 5

there is so much left unsaid with us. things i wish i would have told her when i had a chance
.
what is really odd is before she left for new jersey she came up and told me to make sure i took care of grammy .... i didnt think anything of it at the time - btu it is almost like she knew she wasnt comming home.

this whole thread has me in tears

my very close friend Rebecca. Her and her 2 children were in a house fire and all tragically died. I found out the news a few weeks before my wedding. I was so looking forward to her being there. I would tell her that I miss her and love her very much, and that I know that they are all now angels above-and her and her two babies are together forever.

My ex-boss. I would tell her what a lazy and unqualified person she is, tell her to order her OWN darn breakfast, lunch and snacks, tell her she never properly trained me, and that I cant read her mind. And a few other things

My cousin. I was 14 when she died and she died of cancer when she was 22.
I wish I'd thanked her for being in my life and for being such a good example of the type of person I wanted to be;I wish I'd said to her that I would have given anything to make her healthy again. Our last conversation was about everyday stuff and I carry all of that around with me still.

It will, Goldi, after a lot of time passes.

I would say both my mom and dad, to tell them I finally found someone to share my life with and that I am very happy. Also, on a more practical level, I wonder about a lot of family things I never got to ask about, like medical things and family history.
