We booked in May for next July.

I was like you. I couldn't think about looking at anything else until I had a hall.

last labor day weekend for October 1st. You really can't book any other vendors until you have the day and hall all set.

2 and a half years! And THANK GOD we did! We got SO much included in our package that would otherwise have not been included had we waited to book. Also, we never would have gotten our date.

a year and half - and when we booked they only had 3 dates available between August and October!

We booked in May 05 for a Sept 06 wedding. You should book at least a year in advance, esp if you have a certain date set in mind. But give yourself as much time as possible b/c months like June/Sept book up really quick.

A little over year and a 1/2 in advance.
Mabe start looking around and get an idea because that could be one of your toughest decisions. It also helps on holding a specific date if you have one.
