Pong! You know in the filmstrip, where the guy says, its bes t not to use it for. . & then it skips? I guess you filled that in with Pong. DH filled it in with porn, but Pong is much more realistic.. Seriously, what else you could use it for?
Did old cumputers really have an 'execute' button, instead of 'Enter' or does theis magic computer really off people?

That's what I said! We don't actually know for sure, right?
As for Jin speaking fluent English - . What the hell was that?!?! I will note now though that in the very first episode when he's speaking to his wife telling her to stay away from everyone else, blahblahblah, at one point he says 'Don't worry about the others.' He could have said that a number of ways so I think this will be come significant...

When *Mike* was sticking his hand out of their *jail*, Shaft ( Did Sawyer really call him that? ) whipped out a HUGE knife! Um, where'd it come from?

Duh, Wendy, from the pirates!
And Liz, yes Anna-Lucia was the airport bar chic hitting on Jack. ( eww, the thought of anyone hitting on Jack-- )
Sooooo, Remeber way back in Locke's first flash -back, he was having a 'phone relationship'? He called that women Helen. I guess that was his fanatasy-name for her, because of the Katey Segal Helen.

I'm also having a hard time believing Desmond would leave the hatch. He's been there for THREE YEARS and at no time in those 1000+ days had he had enough and said to himself, screw this, I'm outta here. But a blown fuse sends him out where it's quarantined?????

Re: LOST: 2 good 2 be 4-gotten
The filmstrip annoyed me with all the skipping and burps ... thanks, that was really helpful
The only thing I caught was that the stint was supposed to be for 540 days ...
And yes, where are the cans with 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 of 6?

I missed some bits and pieces of last night show but my big question is:
If desmond has been there for three years and someone was there before him for god knows how long, Where is all that food coming from? If this study was only suppose to be for 1.5 years why is there still an enomous amouth of food left?
(things that make you go hmmmmm)

I assumed those were at & for the other sites.
I don't think Jack had his ring on when he was in the airport.

Kelvin's & mystery partner's stint was supposed to be for 540 days ( about 1 1/2 years) but I think they were supposed to be replaced. I don't thikn we kwo how lognthe projec t was supposed to go on.
We don't know what happened to the other partner, but then Kelvin was going it alone for years untill Desmond showed up. I guess Kelvin did go outside though? How else would he have found Desmond?
We don't know how long Kelvin was there. The film strip wa smad ein 1980, but we don't knwo if Kelvin & partner were the first group sent there.

Eileen... do you think Jin and Ana Lucia are in on it together? After you brought up his conversation with Sun from last season I've been thinking that maybe he is with the Tailaways...
I think it's entirely possible. At the very least, he's not who he said he was if he's suddenly speaking fluent English. It also makes me wonder how much he heard that he shouldn't have since no one would have been to careful speaking around him since they didn't think he could possibly understand them. As for Ana Lucia - I do NOT trust her in the slightest. The whole time she was in the hole with them I knew there was something really off about her but unfortunately didn't think to check Jin's reaction for it. And damn DH won't let me get DVR so I can't even go back to that. Good call though, I'll have to ask someone else to check that tonight.

I actually noticed his expression because it seemed so incongruous with what was happeneing... it was sort of expectant? Almost as though he knew something was about to go down. Of course, in context it seemed like he was just waiting for Sawyer and Ana Lucia to stop bickering, so I could be wildly wrong!
He did seem overly curious about their conversation though...
oooooooohhhhhhh. . .Interesting theory. I recorded it. I have to re-watrch that part!

Posted by MonkeyLuv What exactly is a Skinner box?
Ahh, this one I can answer.
It was BF Skinner's (behaviorist) brain child. basically a box that distributed food alternately to his subjects (usually rats) when they ... yup, you guessed it! PUSHED A BUTTON.
