No, I don't think your overreacting...I would be upset.

Don't feel bad I'm probably not even having a bachelorette party because no one has planned anything yet and they are not cooperating.

Good luck

Aww, sorry. Hey, grab a few girls and join us if you like - Mangia e Bevi dinner, followed by the Awesome 80s prom!

We had dinner at Mangia e Bevi for my bachelorette party. I swear that was the highlight of my night (and we went to Hunkmania afterwards). That place is sooooooo much fun!!! You'll be dancing on your chair (literally) and probably drinking a blow job shot!! Soooo great!!

I would be upset too. I'm having problems with some of my BM for the Bach party too and it's ridiculous. One day out of their lives.

I would be upset too..
Your moh should tell her she should have to chip in no matter what .. I have been to bacheloreete parties and people at the last minute dropped out and we made them still chip in especially if they are a bridesmaid..

If she doesn't want to stay overnight then phooey on her. You will have a great time and she will miss out.

You have a right to be upset. Look at it this way, at least the only people staying at the hotel are the people who REALLY want to be there.

I'm just so hurt b/c we moved it from Atlantic City to NYC because it was becoming unaffordable for some girls, but never my FSIL. Believe me when I tell you, she has the $$. And, like I said, I went away for one of hers, and did the city thing for her too.
Plus, now they want to 'hang out' in our room while we get ready - I just feel like, if she doesn't want to stay at the hotel, then she shouldn't be benefiting from those who are paying for a room.

I agree, and you should tell her that you will meet her at the hotel at such and such a time, and the rest of you girls already be ready.

that would piss me off bigtime.

especially since you went to Florida for ONE of her bachelorette parties.

and you're right, if the hotel is a waste of $$, then she doesn't get to come party in it.

I would definately be pissed because you're giving prices to the other girls based on so many people going, and then they back out. So not only do you get hurt, but now everyone else has to chip in more money than they planned. OMG I would be fuming!!!

She sounds like a spoiled brat to me.

I'd be annoyed too. You know what, don't let her ruin the moment though... what goes around comes around, so they say.

Is there anyway you can lie and say you got a smaller room or something since less people are saying, and it will be too cramped/hectic while you're all getting ready in there? Actually, maybe you dont even have to lie about the room size. You can just say it's too cramped and hectic and you'll see her at dinner (or wherever the first place you are going is).

You are not wrong to be upset. I totally understand how you feel, however don't let it ruin your good time. $125 is not a lot to ask per person for a hotel room in Manhattan. This is just one of those things you keep in the back of your mind and remember when you are asked to do something for her.

No, I'd be upset too. Why are people such BUZZKILLS?
You go ahead and have a great time, and don't say anything to her or FMIL. As long as Fh respects and loves you, you will be ok. He prob. says you shouldn't care because in guy talk that means s*** her! Guys are much different in us in their interpretations!
