I have one friend that I stay in touch with. We email each other almost everyday but we only see each other a couple of times a year.

There was another friend I tried to stay in touch with but she kinda fell off the face of earth.

I was good about it for the first year, but now I keep in touch with about 3 of them (one is marrying a 4th, but I don't talk to him much).

None of my college friends live on LI or NY even, so it is hard.

We moved around a lot when I was growing up, so I never had friends I knew for a long time. So when I got to college and lived with friends for four years, we became really close. My BF from college (who was my MOH) I really do consider a friend for life. I vacationed with her family, and we are so close. She now lives in Michigan, so it's hard, but we make the effort to stay in touch.

It's become more difficult now that I'm married. None of my college friends are married or in serious relationships, so every year they go on extravagent vacations together. My BF is angry with me because I won't fly to visit her for a week. I feel like they don't understand my situation now that I'm married--I don't have the money to fly all over, and when I do have time for vacation and money, I'd rather go away with DH. But that's not about my friends, that's more about the situation.

So yes, they are my best friends ever, but that's because I didn't have any childhood friends I kept in touch with.

Most of my friends are from college. Some I am not as close too, but I still see them at parties & things.

I didn't stay in touch with any friends from childhood or HS, so all my friends are from college or DH.

I have several friends from college that I keep in touch with. We usually only see one another at weddings, but one is coming to visit me in December.

We email one another a few times a month or so....

I see them about as much as I see any of my other friends from high school or otherwise.

Only 3 friends. I went to HS with one of them, so I really consider her part of my HS 'group' - so in that case, it's really just 2.

I found that over the years, I lost touch with many of them. Two of them I see every so often (but not together - they aren't really friends) and the other I mainly only hear from via email occasionally.

There are a few who I am still very close with. And a handful who I exchange Christmas cards and the occasional phone call with. I just went to my 10 year reunion a few weeks ago and reconnected with a lot of friends who I don't really talk to much anymore and it was realy great! Makes me sad that I don't keep in touch with some anymore.
