your sister was trying to be nice, there is nothing wrong with scheduling a trial. Most hairstyles that work out of a salon don't have pictures or a website.

I totally understand where your parents are coming from IF they are getting wedding albums. Most parent albums don't have any photojournalistic shots. They want more traditional. That being said, I would choose a photographer that mets both needs

4 days to get back a phone call is annoying, but she returns it. How many brides on this site have bridesmaids that never return calls.

I don't think everyones against you, but maybe a little out of line. As for your sister, has she ever been an MOH or in a wedding? That may be part of her problem. Not like you're her boss or anything, but she should call you back when you leave a message, and not leave you hanging! I would talk to her about that. And your parents- why are they worried about who you pick for vendors? When did they get married? 20 something years ago? Things are different now, and if you're the one who has to look at the pics for the rest of your life, then you should have some say in who takes them. I would have a talk w/ your parents too. It seems like everyone is frustrated or distant, and you guys are a family, you should be together on this. It shouldn't be driving you apart! Good luck!
