Re: ok ladies...need help with my dress

I think the dress is beautiful. If you like the way it looks on you.. GO FOR IT! How much 'quality' do you really need on a dress you are wearing only once? The goal is to find a dress that you love and makes you feel pretty. If this dress does it for you, then I dont see a reason not to go with it. Dont let other people influence your decision.

I think if you love it, that's all that matters. It looks beautiful in the picture. I doubt you'd be able to tell the 'quality' from your pictures, it will just look beautiful on you! I would be nervous about having something made, my personal experience is it never comes out the way I pictured it in my head. It just gives you extra money in your budget to spend on some other detail

If you love the dress, I say go for it. It has everything you want and it looks good on you. Even if your sister is correct, who on earth is going to get that close to you on your wedding day to examine the detail of the dress (and considering the expense of her dress, I doubt she is correct).

The dress is geogeous and you really love it so I would order it. Beeding is beeding and no-one will even notice. Remember you are only wearing it once!!!!

I think the dress looks beautiful and just because it isnt as expensive as another doesnt mean it is made cheaply- Go with what looks the best on you and you are comfortable with

That's beautiful dress - who makes it? I was worried about the bugle beads on mine too, but my dress came in a while ago and it came out perfect!

I think the dress is beautiful and if you love it then order it. I think that myabe you are givig your sister too mcuh of a 'say', especially when you said her dress is so much more money. Who cares how much it costs?? And if it looks great then order it! Nobody will be scrutinizing the bead work on the dress anyway. They will be looking at beautiful you are!!!

ETA: Keep in mind, the dress you try on in a sample and the quality of YOUR gown will be much better

if you love the way it looks on you, you should go for it, i don't think that anyone will be judging your dress to see what kind of quality or how expensive it probably was. If it makes you feel fabulous, go for it!!

It's beautiful and if you love it and feel beautiful in it who cares how much it is? Are you going to wear the price tag?

Don't second guess yourself. The dress is beautiful and if you love it, nothing else matters.

Let your sister spend more money on her dress, if that makes her happy.

...however....i def. see a difference between the type of beading my gown compared to others of higher qualtiy...

How close to the dress did you have to get to see the difference? I bet it was a heck of a lot closer than the average guest will be.

i guess my concern is more that it will look bad...i am going to see it again this week and decide.
If the picture is any indication, the dress will look just as beautiful on you and in your wedding pictures as it does here in this thread.
thanks!

I think the dress is very pretty and if it looks good on you then get it don't let other people influence your choice. I will tell you that the sample is always not in the best shape lots of people try them on so things may become l oose or fall off. Thats what happend when I tried on one of the dresses that I liked. Also your sister paid alot of money for her dress. Listen you go for what you like and I wouldn't settle for a strapless dress and have sleeves made it may change the look of the dress totally go with what you like
