Thanks for letting me vent....I feel better already !!

I feel your pain. When all is said and done, we're going to have about 50 nos out of 130 people for the wedding. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

If it makes you feel any better, only my MOH will be at my shower - the rest of the BP will be missing.

I think we're just gonna make our minimum of 90 for the wedding. I invited 140 but that was including every1 with a guest. I knew some ppl were not bringing guests. Don't even get me started. I have been so stress free up until this point. I am stuck at work and all I want to do is go home and bury my head in my pillow.

The BP lives OOT - they won't be coming. As long as my local girls (all 10 of them) make it, I'll be ok!

I'm sorry stefanie, that really *****. I had the same thing with my sister's shower. We invited 75, guaranteed 40 and ended up with 30. Don't feel unloved. Maybe it's far for people to come, or maybe she sent out the invites late, or it could be a million things. Don't worry about it, just know that the people who are there really love you.

if the guarantee s a problem, maybe your sis can spread the word that the men cna come and they can be fed in a separate room? For my sister's shower since it was WAY out on the island, we made arrangements to feed the husbands.

if it makes you feel any better none of my FH's family will be at my shower. they are all from oot and are only coming up for the wedding.

OH STEPHANIE I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT. JUST ENJOY IT AND HAVE FUN WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ARE GOING... TRY AND NOT LET IT BOTHER YOU SWEETY.

I know how you feel. I just had my shower and invited about 100 people. Only about 35 came and only 6 was family! I was so depressed But I've had so many gifts sent to me since then. You never know what others had planned before they got the invite. Don't count them out just yet

I know it is disapointing, but please try not to let it bother you too much.

I am having my shower on Memorial Day weekend because I live in Los Angeles and that is the only weekend I could fly back to NY. I know more than half the people aren't going to come, but the ones who really matter will be there.
