My old dog used to fart, hear the sound, go smell by her butt and get freaked out and run away and leave us in the stench!!!

I don't think you truly understand the dangers of a gassy dog until you've had a 155 lb dog with BAD gas. My FILs dog eats leaves and dirt and it makes him sooo gassy! It is truly horrible and we have to leave the room. It literally travels the room in waves so one person smells it and then 20 seconds later another person, etc.

Piper's gas has 'improved' since she's been on a turkey and rice based food but she still has her moments! It was in the description of the breed though that they are prone to have bad gas and its so true!

Oscar's usually not too bad w/ farting but I had the whole family over for dinner and he was so bad that night. my sister almost threw up right at the table when he sat down at her feet and let out a really bad one!
