Massapequa on the Great South Bay. I am getting married there and they just did an expansion and some interior work-- it was beautiful before, but it is amzing now! The food is great, the view -- breathtaking. The prices-- reasonable. Check it out-- www.rivieracaterer.com

I agree! The place is gorgeous and the food is outrageous. The people you work with there are so friendly and helpful and accomodating. However, if you are talking this October, the dates are probably taken, but it doesn't hurt to try : )

Main 415... ask for Erwin... we had my brother's engagement party there and people are still talking about it... it's on the water, but you really can't see it, it's in port washington (we got an amazing deal, with an open bar)... also there's the snapper inn in oakdale.. the brunch buffet was very good, my sister's engagement party was there..

I second that! The food was outrageous! The view is incredible!! The staff is so friendly youll pinch yourself!! LOL They also gave me the cheapest price out of the 12 or so venues I went to!!

Lombardis on the Sound is beautiful, on the water and GREAT food. they sometimes lack in people skills. But it's worth it. The food is always good. I just went to a Communion there and it was beautiful.

I met a woman who had her wedding on ship in Port Jeff. I saw the pics, they were BEAUTIFUL!! She said the food was great!! If he loves the water this might be perfect. I would look them up or just go to port jeff and see!!!!

Captain Bills in Bayshore. I had my shower there and it was awesome. They have several rooms, 1 holds up to 60, another holds up to 100 and a 3rd is wedding size. The food is great and they are right on the water.
