The View in Northport. It sits on top a hill overlooking the LI Sound. The food is incredible, the prices very reasonable. I will warn you that October 5 is booked for my RD!!!

Does it have to be Long Island? Check out Caffe on the Green in Bayside under the Throggs Neck Bridge. Awesome food.....beautiful place.

I say Chateau La Mer! I love it there! The upstairs room is perfect for that!!

IF LI I would say Chateau La Mer or Crescent beach. IF you are willing to travel I would suggest Marina Del Ray, the food is GREAT there.
