I would be upset. But it's her wedding, if she is dead set on pairing people up by height than that's what she wants. She isn't trying to insult anyone, that's just what she thinks will look best.
Me... I am pairing everyone up with their partners.

I dont think its weird. Some ppl are very meticulous and want it to be in height order, so it looks neat. I understand that it would bother you to not be paired with your hubby, but I wouldnt let it get to you and just let her do it the way she wants.

It is a little weird, but Her Day, Her Way. I wouldn't let it bother you.

Honestly, yes, I think its weird. I can never understand things like that at all. If I had anyone in my BP who were married/engaged/dating, I definitely would have had them walk together, regardless of height. Thats so silly.

Yes, I think it's weird, but look at it this way. You can walk in with other people but for the first dance with the bridal party you can dance with him. There's no rule about that!

Re: Is this weird?
it is a little. but maybe theres a girl in the wedding party thats really tall and needed another tall guy and ur husband was the only one. Or maybe theres a short guy and the other girl she was putting him was taller than him.

Re: Is this weird?
I'm glad that I don't think I will have any couples in my wedding party!!! I am anal with symetrics and am one of those people that likes the whole height order thing. However, I have also never seen a wedding where things didn't go in height order, and couples weren't together. Kinda weird.
But I wouldn't sweat it. Maybe you can walk at the church in the height order, but maybe at the hall be announced with your DH and dance with him??? Maybe if you threw that out to her b/c then the height order doesn't matter as much

Re: Is this weird?
i agree with your approach to the issue - let her plan her day the way she wants
BUT this is one of my biggest wedding pet peeves - i think it is disrespectful to the couple - like hey your relationship doesnt mean as much to me as the 'symmetry' of my BP?
so you can't dance with your husband for the first dance since you usually dance with your partner, you are also taking pictures with someone else. . . to me THAT seems more wierd than the height difference. .

Re: Is this weird?
It's odd for her to say that, as if you didn't marry a man who is the right height for you, but frankly all people really notice are the bride and groom.
