I think it really depends on where you are staying and for how many nights. I know many of the newer hotels in Bora Bora are really expensive...prob 800+ per night, even more depending on what category of bungalow you get. Also keep in mind that food and drinks are really expensive. But if you can get any special packages which include breakfast and lunch, which I had with the Intercontinental Thalasso in Bora Bora, it will save you a bundle.

depends on where u want to stay.
we went top of the line all the way and paid over 10k including air fare.

that did not include our meals or activities..

Very realistic number. I went to a travel agent with a similar budget, she worked her magic and got us a great package.

Sounds about right.... and I agree, FH and I decided that we were going to do what we wanted for HM no matter what cause it will prob. be the last romantic vacation we take in awhile.
