First of all, all you have such sweet stories, I loved reading all of them. Here's mine...
I came home from work on a Friday night and when I opened the door to my bedroom..
The room was decorated with about 4 dozen red and white roses and rose petals and tons of candles, hershey kisses and teddy bears. David was in a tuxedo already down on one knee as I walked in the door. He also had 'our song' (Could Not Ask For More) playing in the background. He said something (that I don't remember) and then he asked if I would marry him.
Then all both of our parents and siblings were waiting for us at a restuarant to celebrate. I was totally shocked and caught off guard. I knew that we'd eventually get engaged, but we never even talked about or looked at rings. (I must say he did a great job, I love my ring!)
My parents knew for a month and David had been planning it for over 3 months. Everyone kept the secret so well-I never suspected a thing!
