Re: question

debbie, I was right where you are back in December. I had my dress, most of my vendors, etc. I suggest this. Take a break. really. Because before you know it you'll be four months away. I bought a lot of books on flowers, ceremonies and so on. I sepnt a lot of time on magazines, cutting things out and putting them in a book. That kind of organization gave me focus - and you learn an incredible amount. It's so hard to wait for, but believe me - you will get to the point where the holidays have passed and you're staring down the months to your big day. People will start asking a million questions, addresses will be coming in like wildifre and somehow you will be behind! TRUST ME and everybody on this board.

Maybe you can take up a hobby - I took up knitting and that took up a great deal of time. Good luck and enjoy being engaged, because six months from now you two will be fighting like cats and dogs and the challenge will be in remembering how you got there in the first place. Time goes quickly.

Re: question

we were supposed to get married this september, but since we are paying for EVERYTHING ourselves(except my gown & veil--my mom), and we have a little over 200 people, we decided to do it in may. less stress and easier on the pocket.
so may 17, 2003 it is. 10 months but it seems to be rolling by quickly deb. we are going to register next month (as i was told to do earlier than expected by my MOH). i remember when we booked our hall it was a year and a half away and THAT was depressing!!
so 10 months i can deal with although i wish it was tomorrow!
