my FH family is pretty big too but we didnt invite everyone. we invited his first cousins his uncles and aunts .. no friends, no 2nd cousins or children. its easily done. my FH's mom is 1 of 6 and his dad is 1 of 12.

Yeah we only invited first cousins too, i told him sorry but no second cousins and def no children. We did invite friends though, definitely have to have our wedding party there. I basically invited mostly friends in the bp and then just very few others who i am also close with. He invited a lil bit more friends. Like I said before just his first cousins, aunts and uncles is over 70 people. Its stressful but we will be with alot of people we are close to and love and it will be fun.

I had about 65-70 at my eparty over the weekend at the Inn at NHP, and the room definitely could hold more than that if you needed.
I totally understand why you're having so many people at your eparty, I had to cut my list down and that was the smallest amount of people we could get it down to.. I look at it that we are blessed to have great big families that love to get together... Don't let anyone else on this thread tell you, it's too many and your having a 'wedding'...because you're not!!! You asked for recommendations on where to have your party...not their opinion on whether your party is too big!!

I look at it like that too, we will be surrounded by alot of people that love us and that is what matters whether you are having a small or big party. I understand why people say Omg its like a wedding, but thats just half of our guest list, so i don't see it quite like that. I am very excited about my e-party and can't wait for it next month. To each their own
