Regarding the personalization of the wine bottles:You can order them that way from Pindar... Im assumming other vineyards are the same.
Good Luck

Re: Favors
diamondgirl - we ordered our bottles from Pindar's store in Port Jeff, but had to order the labels from across the street at a store - And I Quote. Then once the labels are ready they bring them over to Pindar and the Pindar employees attach the labels onto the bottles for you.

Re: Favors
We are doing mikasa wine stoppers. They are black and silver and the top is shaped like a heart. We are also putting out trays of mini black and white cookies on the table since we are doing a black and white theme for the bridal party.

Re: Favors
I'm making white chocolate heart boxes with the silouhette of a bride and groom on the top. Inside will be 3 milk chocolate heart truffles. My theme is hearts so I thought this would be nice. My mom actually has her own chocolate business, so she will probably be doing most of the work and I will assist. We will wrap then in clear cellohane bags and tie them with tulle and a string of pearls. Here is a pic of something similar.

Re: Favors
There are 2 main liquor houses in NY state,I work for one of them. My company services every bar, restaurant, reception hall, liquor store, etc in New York, (because of this I get treated extra special in restaurants, and in my own Reception Hall!)
Anyway, we do not carry pindar (LI winery wine) however, if anyone wanted wine bottles, the small 187 size or the larger ones, if you buy them, you get the wedding labels with personalization for free.
If anyone needs this let me know
PS-I am not a salesperson at my company lol!

Re: Favors
Hey, Mishy. I am responding to the email you sent me. I apologize for doing it this way but I am new to the site and don't know how to send the information directly to you (I looked under the favors topic and did not see your name). Anyway, I got a great deal on my wine stopper favors. The place where I am having my reception was charging $12 each but I found the exact same ones for only $3.85 each. The only difference is that the favors come boxed but I would have to decorate them. The $12 ones come already decorated. Anyway, my FH and I are dealing with a wedding planner on Meacham Avenue in Elmont called 'Majestic Bridal'. I have had 4 close family members use this guy (it's a husband and wife business) and they got great service and a good price. We got our photographer, flowers, limos, invitations, and a few more things through him. We weren't expecting to get the favors there but then I noticed how much he was charging. The only thing is to get that price ($3.85) for the wine stoppers you have to order a minimum of 96. I need over a hundred so it wasn't an issue for me and since I have six months until the wedding, I am going to order them tomorrow so that I have more time to play around with how I want them decorated.Well, sorry this is so long. I hope this was helpful to you. Let me know how you make out.

We're creating mini recipe books with our families' favorite recipes. Since FI is Jamaican, and I'm African American, we plan to include some traditional and not-so-traditional dishes from our respective cultures. We'll laminate them, bind them, and include a picture and/or note from us.Welcome New Vendors
