I had fashion plates too! I loved those things. I loved anything that put design to paper. Remember spirograph? Totally loved it.

And you NEED to tell me that store that you got that green advertisement from. That pocketbook is adorable, and exactly what I need. It would 'go' with virtually everything I own.

Providing the weather is good, I will be a sight on St. Patrick's Day. We're going in to the parade and I plan on breaking out my Irish sweater that my friend bought for me when he was in Ireland. Green makeup, nails, possibly hair. Lips, if I can find green lipstick.

I plan on embarassing my husband as much as possible. But everyone will be drunk anyway, so who cares?

I'm so picky when it comes to bags. I don't like any pockets or anything on the outside, that's why I like that picture. I saw a few I like on the BR site but they don't come in green.

I have a love/hate relationship with BR. They indirectly caused me to get a parking ticket in Brooklyn and ruined the rest of the day.

DH likes their stuff and actually bought a similar suit (could actually be the same one) to the one Dean wore for your wedding. Love that suit.

i still have my fashion plates - i still play sometimes. . . my niece loves it and i still have like 100 papers in the box with my name 'autographed' on the bottom and my best friend's name too LOL

I don't really know... I even tried typing out a really long explanation but even that didn't make sense. So the real answer is... I don't know. I just NEVER buy bags for me. I get one a year as a gift and that's what I use until the next time someone gives me one. Although my MIL gave me a coach for my birthday and I really like it so if she doesn’t give me another one then I would have to buy it myself. I HONESTLY cannot remember EVER buying myself a bag.

Your MIL needs to talk to my MIL. She bought me a hideous bag for my birthday. Flashy, huge, LIME GREEN. Yeah, I like green, but I am not that kind of person.

Bags are my reward for EVERYTHING. I had a hard day at work - new bag. I bought a new outfit - new bag. I'm sad - new bag. I have $$ - new bag. It's a sickness.


Yet another reason to step back from that ledge.
